Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LANCR (lancr.in), operated by Anudeep GRS, based in Hyderabad, India, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern all transactions, escrow services, and interactions on the platform.

2. Escrow Protection Mechanism

To secure trust between clients and freelancers, LANCR implements a mandatory milestone-based escrow service:

  • Milestone Deposit: The client deposits the agreed milestone amount into our secure payment pool prior to the commencement of work.
  • Work & Verification: The freelancer submits the work for review. The client has a designated period to review the deliverables.
  • Escrow Release: Once the client approves the milestone or the designated review period lapses without a dispute, the funds are released to the freelancer's verified bank account via instant payout.
  • Off-Platform Prohibitions: To ensure escrow protection and prevent fraud, users are strictly prohibited from soliciting or making payments outside the LANCR platform. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

3. Payments via Razorpay

Payment collections and payouts on LANCR are integrated with and processed by Razorpay. By transacting on LANCR, you agree to comply with Razorpay's terms of service and payment processing rules.

4. Tax & GST Compliance in India

Users are solely responsible for tax compliance under Indian laws:

  • LANCR charges a platform marketplace commission fee on completed projects. This fee is subject to 18% GST.
  • Appropriate GST tax invoices will be generated and sent to both clients and freelancers.
  • Freelancers are responsible for filing their own income tax returns, paying professional taxes, and complying with GST registrations based on their annual turnover threshold.

5. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the platform, payment escrow, or transactions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
