Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Overview of Refund Policy
At LANCR (lancr.in), operated by Anudeep GRS, Hyderabad, India, we use a secure escrow mechanism to protect both clients and freelancers. Since funds are locked in escrow per project milestone, our refund and cancellation terms are structured specifically around milestone statuses.
2. Project Cancellation and Refunds
Refund eligibility depends entirely on the status of the project and milestone approvals:
- Before Work Starts: If a contract is cancelled by mutual agreement before any work has commenced or been submitted, the client is eligible for a 100% refund of the escrowed funds, minus any non-refundable payment gateway processing fees charged by Razorpay.
- Milestones in Progress: If a dispute arises mid-project, funds currently held in escrow can only be refunded or released through mutual agreement of both parties or through LANCR's dispute resolution/mediation service.
- Approved Milestones: Once a client reviews and approves a project milestone, the escrowed funds are released to the freelancer. Released funds are strictly non-refundable.
3. Marketplace Platform Fees
LANCR charges a platform commission/service fee for facilitating secure matches, escrow verification, and payouts. Platform fees are charged only upon successful completion of a milestone and are non-refundable once a transaction is successfully completed.
4. Refund Processing via Razorpay
Once a refund is approved by both parties or resolved through our mediation process:
- Refunds are processed back to the original source payment method (UPI, credit/debit card, or bank account) through Razorpay.
- In accordance with banking guidelines in India, approved refunds will reflect in the user's account within 5 to 7 business days.
